About Kia Ricks Real Estate and Notary

After graduating from college with a degree in Counseling, Kia Ricks began her career in the Social Work field, dedicated to helping many people transform their lives. Kia's last role in this field was as a family therapist, where she empowered families to become the best versions of themselves, both individually and as a cohesive unit.  

After years of supporting individuals and families, Kia felt it was time to transition into something new, but she was uncertain about her next steps.  

During this transition, Kia was in the process of buying a second home for her growing family. However, she felt that the experience lacked the personal touch she desired.  

Kia wanted her real estate services to be tailored to her and her family's specific wants and needs. Unfortunately, her initial experience did not reflect that.  

This prompted Kia to leverage her skills in helping people by becoming a Realtor, determined to provide the exceptional service she wished to receive during her own home-buying journey.  

In 2012, Kia Ricks officially became a Realtor, assisting many families in buying and selling homes. By 2016, Kia advanced her career by becoming a Real Estate Broker, aiming to mentor the next generation of San Diego Realtors to prioritize the needs of home buyers and sellers. In 2020, she took her passion a step further by opening her own Real Estate Brokerage.  

Kia is committed to continual growth and, in 2025, expanded her services to include mobile notary services, allowing her to assist a new range of clients.
